Ten Junes and a December

October 09, 2013  •  Leave a Comment

here in cold december
i’m trapped in a moment,
a second, i thought
i’d never remember.

you on a hill
so quiet and still,
and in your eyes
i saw everything I feel.

the second was lost
deep in a laughter
not pursued after.

in the cold December,
thinking of moments
i thought lost forever,

i see in you
a touch of past,
feeling a spirit
long since cast.

to wear an innocent kiss,
stolen from sleeping bliss.

to recall that want and desire.

ten junes and a december
have come and gone
caught in between the loneliness
outside your warm door

here in cold december.
