Time Enough for Blog

So, it's been a while since I last posted, nearly five months. Here's what's happened in no particular order.

  • My son graduated from high school. (Yahoo!)

  • I got a new, used car. (Gave the old, used car to the kid!)

  • Sold my entire comic book collection (Downpayment for the new, used car.)

  • Shot a lunar eclipse and made a few Milky Way trips.

  • I had several shoots affected by storms. (Ah, Climate Change!)

  • I made two trips to the Everglades. (I left a few pints of blood there!)

  • I hung out with my best friend in St. Pete, FL. (I remember most of it)

  • Joined the Scott Kelby World Wide Photo Walk - Tampa, FL. (I might see if I can lead one next year.)

  • I'm in the middle of a daily Instagram Challenge, where I post at least once a day - (wink, wink, nudge, nudge and follow - @fotodono)

  • I've also created an Instagram/Facebook page celebrating my father's artwork. The pages go by the handles @terry_bear_evans and @terry.bear.evans. (I just started, and I'll post there once a week. Well, that's the plan!)

  • I joined Saatchi Art, where I'll post my old artwork, one-of-a-kind prints, and open editions.

  • Oh yeah, I've also been teaching every month.

Nope, not tired at all... 😜

I'm doing what next?

(Sigh) I will hopefully return to a regular blog schedule at least once every two weeks. I've got some exciting projects, plus a trip to plan to the Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway. There will be some blogging about those as they happen.

What's next for Foto Dono?

With my son's graduation, I am moving in a new direction in my life. I plan to be living the nomad lifestyle in about three years. With that goal in mind, I need to pair down my accumulated things. So you'll see more posts on upcoming sales and services. I'll post those announcements on my Foto Dono Facebook page, plus a few other sites.

Buckel up, all you Buttercups! It's going to be an exciting ride as I navigate new waters.

Thanks for your patience, and I look forward to your comments.

Cheers,

Dono
