Discover the world of Macro Photography.
Join me for a macro photo walk to Palma Sola Botanical Park. You'll wander through the 10 acre lush tranquil gardens around the three lakes. Armed with a macro lens, a tripod and a water bottle, you'll explore the ability to make photographs of small items larger than life size.
This is for all levels of photographers on practical macro tips on equipment, composition and depth-of-field.
Equipment - You'll need an interchangeable lens camera (ILC), a tripod and a macro lens. Optional macro accessories: macro filters, reversing rings or a lenses with macro like capabilities. Optional tripod accessories for use in macro photography: a focusing rail, an "L" bracket and a bean bag. Bring a bottle of water and a decent pair of walking shoes. Also, some set-ups maybe easier with a portable stool to sit on.
Field Trip Fee – $75 - 30% of the fee is to be donated to the park.
*This is a rain or shine event! Additional meeting details will be emailed 48 hours before the event.
Refunds – There are no refunds. However, If the event is cancelled then a refund will be issued.
Class duration may vary, somewhat, from the designated time - depending on group size, and group involvement. The class has an active participation part and expects full interaction with each student. The goal is for everyone to learn, create and enjoy.
