The night sky over the Nebraskan Panhandle inspired me to name this photo after the song "Starry, Starry Night" by Don McLean. The song pays homage to Vincent Van Gogh and references his iconic painting, *The Starry Night*. As I walked through the deep darkness of Nebraska, a line from the song kept repeating in my mind: "I can understand what he tried to say."
